About

Years ago, I sat in the kitchen of the family home I grew up in and listened to my parents interview various realtors to sell their home. Once they made their decision and chose the realtor they felt was right, I started asking him my own questions. Being the curious person that I am, I wanted to know all I could. I knew I was interested in getting into real estate, but had no idea where to begin.

This conversation would quickly lead to a job opportunity in the industry when I was hired on with Keller Williams Elite Realty, employed in various administrative roles throughout the office. I learned the back end of real estate – the side that supports the agents. I learned the importance of paperwork and working with the Real Estate Board, lawyers and notaries so our agents could navigate the market without issue. I watched agents come and go, and quietly observed the business. It gave me the behind-the-scenes perspective that has become completely invaluable to me today. After a few years of this, I was asked to join a busy team in the Tri Cities as their assistant. This is where I got to observe the ins and outs of what exactly makes a successful agent.

Our team quickly grew and soon I was needed to step out of the assistant role and into the position of Lead Buyers Specialist. After passing the real estate exam in 2015, I wasted no time getting to work. Looking back, there is no way I could have achieved what I did in my first year in real estate had I not had the support of my team. It was my job to guide buyers through the process while keeping them informed and protected against risk in what was one of the most competitive markets we had seen in ages.

Along the way, I started to consider what my own business would look like. In 2018, I stepped away from the team and created Ainsworth Homes. I’ve worked hard to create a business based on integrity and growth through word of mouth. I have been so lucky to have been able to sit in every seat of the bus when it comes to real estate – from receptionist, to conveyancer, to realtor’s assistant, to Buyers Agent, to finally being the owner of my own brand. I take a vested interest in continuing my education in an industry where policies and regulations are changing constantly. But most importantly, I really love what I do. There is no better feeling for me than when I’ve successfully helped my clients begin a new chapter of their lives. 8 years into my career, I am proud to have my business running almost entirely off of repeat and referrals.
